Dr. Pamela Sue Durgin, D.C.

Doctor of Chiropractic, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine

310-397-6001
Every illness has an underlying cause which can often be found in certain aspects of your lifestyle, environment or selection of foods. Treatment is founded on the belief in the ability of the body to heal itself. Natural health care incorporates the wisdom of ancient methods with the most advanced scientific research for the prevention, treatment, and reversal of disease. Using traditional as well as the most recent proven diagnostic techniques allows the thorough assessment of both symptoms and underlying causes. Finally, natural therapeutic modalities, while quite powerful, are generally free from the toxic side effects of many conventionally used pharmaceutical drugs. The significance of Chiropractic is to integrate structure and function to achieve health. A variety of techniques for adjusting the osseous and soft tissues are used in order to correct structural and / or postural imbalances or pathology. Because it is specific to the individual, there is no typical course of treatment. Depending upon the condition, the duration of the problem, and the modalities used, a course may vary from one simple session to a series of several visits.

Pat Brown, RPP, PWE, CMT

Licensed Massage Therapist
Colon Hydro-Therapy www.oasiscolonhealth.com
310-398-0836

Pat Brown is a Polarity Wellness Educator registered with the American Polarity Therapy Association.  Her training in the Practices of Polarity Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy and Massage allow her to support her client base in healing touch or when requested, relaxing therapeutic massage.  Pat has been a member of the healing community since 1990.  Prior to entering the world of healing touch, she held a key managerial position with a telecommunications firm.  She feels her background allows her to bring the language of healing together with the knowledge processes and demands of today’s world.

Pat’s sessions combine intention, process-orientated bodywork and energetic touch.  Pat is dedicated to “holding a safe space” for people to experience personal growth, and reconnect with their own inner wisdom.  Pat is a member of the teaching staff at Polarity Healing Arts, Hands on Healing and Bryman College.  She also has a strong support network for her clients and their natural healing process including Dr. Noel Aguilar Ph.D, Naturopathic Physician, and Pamela Stephan, MFT.

Pat Brown also offers Colon Hydrotherapy:

Cleaning the colon can be traced back to the ancient Egyptians. The priest-physicians saw this as a way to clean the body and maintain health. The Egyptians would clear themselves on three consecutive days every month, seeking health by enemas. They had the belief all disease comes to man from his food.
Technology today has developed an instrument that can montor water pressure, water temperature and control. At Oasis Colon Health we use a Hydro-Sans Plus Colon Therapy System. This is a system that operates under the strict performance and safety standards established by the Food and Drug Administration.
We also use the term Colon Hydrotherapy:
1. A slow gentle administration of water into the bowel is effective and able to cleanse the entire length of the large intestine all the way to the cecum.
2. Because low amounts of water are being introduced…water is able to gently "seep" into the "nooks and crannies" allowing the water to soften and loosen harden feces.
3. This machine allows the changing of water from warm to cool. This will stimulate the muscles of the bowel itself, thus creating a toning effect, which eliminates the dependency on colon hydrotherapy.

Colon Hydrotherapy benefits the following list:
Fatigue, Flatulence, Irritability, Protruding abdomen, Bad Breath, Coated Tongue, Body Odor, Over/Under weight, Lower back pain, Swelling in legs, High blood pressure, Depression, Headaches, Skin blemishes/Acne, Shallow complexion

While professionally administered Colon Hydrotherapy is not a cure all; it certainly ranks toward the top of the list. Colon Hydrotherapy is a valuable modaliaty complimenting many other areas of the holistic healing community.
