In my work with Integrative Massage and CranioSacral Therapy, I offer you an intentional and sacred space to be held while slowing down and dropping within.   This work creates space to invite and hear what truly wants to be related to, called in and/or released in your life. These body prayers naturally and gently unwind old patterns and ways of thinking that no longer serve and invite a change in your energy vibration that allows you to align and manifest with your heart’s desire. The aim is to listen and to awaken that deep hidden knowingness that there is something much bigger to rest in and to trust, having the ability to resource self as a loving presence and to connect to that which is infinite, timeless and fearless.

In an Integrative Massage session, we begin by calming the mind through the medium of touch.  Long, rhythmic and flowing movements allow the body to open and unwind. Through relaxing and tending to the body we prepare the nervous system to receive the deeper more subtle work of craniosacral.  An Integrative Massage offers you an opportunity to experience heartfelt touch through massage and also gives you an introduction to the benefits of craniosacral.

Craniosacral is a form of body therapy that uses a gentle touch, slight manipulation and intention to help improve the central nervous system functions, alleviate the effects of stress and release blocked energy created by trauma, tension or habitual beliefs and patterns. This work allows me to meet your body’s innate intelligence and reflect this information back to the body, helping it to find its own vitality and healing resources to reestablish balance and harmony in the body-mind.

All sessions include lying on the crystal amethyst bio mat and essential oils.

Ms. Walker has over 10 years of counseling and mental health related experience with all ages and varied cultures. She is a clinically certified hypnotherapist from the Hypnosis Motivational Institute in Tarzana, California, and has a master’s degree in transpersonal counseling, psychology and art therapy, from the alternative Naropa Institute in Boulder Colorado. She also owned her own custom designed group therapy business, for 3 years in Minneapolis before moving to LA in 2003. She is conversant in Spanish and some French. Her focus is in assisting individuals to develop their own strengths and on building greater self-esteem and holistic health through greater self-awareness and hypnosis. Her specialty is in working with; survivors of trauma, eating disorders, unresolved grief, and financial and personal goal achievement. She believes that creativity in daily life is important to one’s sense of fulfillment, and that creativity fosters growth and personal success. She wrote her graduate thesis on Art-making as a Tool for Raising the Self-esteem of American Indian Men in Substance Abuse Recovery.

Ms. Walker feels that by raising a person’s self-esteem in a short period of time, that her goal will allow each individual to develop the necessary tools to go forth and prosper to a greater capacity.  She is now developing her private practice in hypnotherapy at the Oasis Healing Center in Mar Vista California, and welcomes the opportunity to use all of her varied and developed skills towards helping others gain greater clarity, spiritual connectedness, joy, and success in their lives.
